PLIERS, DIAGONAL CUTTING
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial
item description as a replacement for GGG-P-468 which is canceled.
This commercial item description covers diagonal cutting pliers intended for use in cutting wire close to flat surfaces.
Salient characteristics:
Diagonal cutting pliers shall be in accordance with American National
Standards Institute ANSI/ASME B107.11M.

The issue of ANSI/ASME B107.11M in effect on the date of
invitation for bid or request for proposals shall be used to determine
compliance with the stated requirements.
Regulatory requirement. Contractors/offerors are encouraged to utilize
recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent
practicable.
Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. Preservation,
packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract
or order.
