The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description by all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers adjustable hand reamers used in reaming hole diameters to specified tolerances.
2. CLASSIFICATION. Not applicable
3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3.1 Design. The adjustable hand reamer shall be of the straight-fluted inserted blade type.
